Together with partners from Barcelona, London, Berlin and Antwerp, in the framework of an Erasmus+ project, we investigated how civic engagement in cities leads to the interweaving of new skills.

The commitment that citizens take up in cities is rarely noncommittal. It often leads to innovative and widely supported solutions for urban and spatial challenges. But such co-creative processes are often a learning experience for all stakeholders.

But such co-creative processes are also often a learning experience for all stakeholders. In the EULER project, we zoomed in on the skills that citizens deploy and acquire in four cases of urban co-creation in Barcelona, London, Berlin and Antwerp.
